Suletta: "It's time to duel!!"
Fr, though. Why do they even listen to her plea? Maybe Suletta might have the power to drag her opponent to the Dark Realm lol
It's pretty obvious if you pay attention, Sophie is toying with suletta. She says "we'll duel our way." That means to the death. My guess is we'll see a blade antenna break norea or Sophie just won't stop even after they've lost going for the kill. Or maybe they'll straight up go after the school. Whatever they do, it won't be quiet
Maybe it's more buildup to the eventual Earthian uprising against Spacians.
Gundam will find a way to war if nothing else
Earthians are going to choke on a massive chunk of space dirt then.
Earthians so far have like 5 named chars from a small terrorist organization, not enough of a buildup for a global uprising.
Maybe later after more exposition, but not this season because now it would be like uprising happened out of the blue.
Unprofessional - they are supposed to be hardboiled terrorists who already did enough to have a death warrant if caught.
It is also unprofessional on their boss part - why send them both on infiltration mission since one of them seems obviously unhinged and doesn't really fit for covert mission. If they send only calm one this confrontation never happened.
The only reason why they are here because writers don't want to discard already-introduced antagonists from the last season and don't want to introduce new ones.
Have fun being angry friend
Sophie is trying to get what she wants to. A proper duel what what she considers the 'real' Suletta, she's been hanging with her trying to sus out the girl that absolutely bested them that day when they attacked the Plant.
Not only what others have said, the two thots have their mission and if they cause a ruckus now they might jeopardize it. Agreeing to a duel with the expectation that both Nina and Suletta will keep shut is a safer option.
Those girls could have killed them both in that moment instead of accepting that duel
enemy basically jumped into their hands.
So many enemies in their safehouse like elan is also there
I guess alongside the backbone she developed talk-no-justu lol. I mean it was either that or she somehow summoned Ariel using the power of friendship.
It's that Genki-Girl energy. It's so infectious, even terrorists can't resist.
Maybe that was a drug that the mother of suleta gave to her to be energetic killing that person
Amongus
Not gonna lie, I find Sophie being a loli/shorter than Suletta to be kinda cliche-ish & not in a good way.
Could it possibly be... that she is a child? Like, why are you feeling uncomfortable about it? Should we invoke Freud's spirit to help us screen your inner feelings?
No. I know why. It's because when she made her appearance in the last two episodes of season one, it was as a terrorist hijacking Bob's employers ship. All the other terrorist were adults. Since we only see her in her Gundam it wasn't a stretch to think she was also an adult. Plus if Sophie is older than Suletta, then it would be more reasonable that she would also have more battle experience than Suletta. Thus Suletta would finally have a worthy rival/antagonist, as opposed to all the cannon fodder kids that's been thrown at her.
Next Sophie states that she is a Witch from Earth. Outside of Suletta the only other Witches have been adults as well. They being Prospera & what's her name that was also a Vanadis Institute survivor who now works under Miorine.
It's a bit difficult to see, an as young as Suletta, Sophie as a worthy antagonist, when our MC, Suletta, was one shotting on her 4th birthday.
Just one thing - witches are not really a concept in the series, it's just how they semi-pejoratively call female Gundam pilots. Not of any plot importance, the point is.
Really? Damn. I thought it was reserved for Gundam pilots
Thanks for the correction
In the first half of last season piloting Gundam was a major thing, not everyone could do it for prolonged time without dying - numerous dialogues from different chars said that. So "witches" was more like "newtypes" from old series, just since the show are female-targeted only girls was natural newtypes, lol.
Towards the end of season they discarded that concept, now everyone can pilots gundams safely or with minimal consequences.
My favorite tanuki is back!
I like how the girls canceled their murder plan because they have to follow the school rules.
If they so obedient Sulleta should've just said that killing are against school rules and illegal in general. Antagonist girls surely reformed after such revelation.
long hair suletta or is that eri is 🔥
long hair was gourgeous
I don't know how to feel if Suletta just straight up got cucked by her OG self.
is that realky suletta or the one in the prologue
What? They're the same person?
lol im the one asking
New season and the OP and ED are still sick as always. That Suletta in her dress was so captivating.
What Sophie said was kinda true but it's more of a miracle that no one has died in the duel yet than anything. I mean, how is that even possible? They used real weapons shooting at each other but there's not a single casualty. It's kinda impressive in more ways than one.
Possibly because they explicitly aim at the horns? Like, in every duel this was the point - to break the horns on top of the machine, while the cockpit is in the middle of it.
Aiming for the horn is way more difficult consider how small it is; not to mention the suit is constantly moving. Just like how aiming for the legs or arms is impractical irl and most of the gun users were taught to aim for the body which is the biggest target.
Either way, there's no reason for them to use the real weapons that can really destroy the mech just for a shooting a horn. I just find it makes more sense to not use lethal weapons for a mere duel.
As someone over the reddit mentioned, they are actually using low-yield beams for the duels. They cannot penetrate the cockpit, unlike the blue military-grade beams. Which makes even more sense that they are making the duels "human factor"-proof.
Pilot cockpit must be made of vibranium.
Shows how much restraint they are actually putting on themselves tbh. But that restraint would ended up be a liability that would make them unable to operate to kill.
Suletta really is pure to a fault. Guess that's what happens when your mom gaslights you your entire life.
That sort of implies naivety rather than purity.
Same, same.
I hope we see more of Nika develpoment. She is an interesting character who has just been used as a pawn all this time.
Slowly the dark reality is being pushed into the girls lifes, it will be cool to see how they handle it
all the side characters are more interesting and more development than Suletta or Miorine
Suletta looks decent with her hair down.
That's a step or two above decent. :P Especially compared to her normal look.
Long hair Suletta dancing with GUNbits in ED was amazing. Liked it even more than the OP
That was really creepy
Beautiful characters.
Beautiful Characters ? SOLD!!!
Basically... a good enough reason for watching. 'Tis «Art» Appreciation...
Agreed Mega thanks.
Their infiltration didn't even last 1 episode. lmao xD
Was not expecting the enemy to literally come live amongst them. That sure escalated quickly though. I found it pretty funny that Suletta proposed a duel to someone who was literally in the middle of trying to kill and silence them, but I guess that worked out somehow, lol
